Eddie AI

Eddie AI is a FRAMES Participant and the agentic AI video-editing product evaluated on the calls for one-small-crawl. The June calls name the partner “Eddie AI” / “ADI Assistant Video Editor”; from August the calls call it “Eddie”/“Eddie AI”. Its representative on the calls is shamir.

Tool workflow (as demonstrated on the calls)

  • Ingests footage, scripts and background documents from local or cloud (Google Drive) sources; generates stringouts and rough cuts.
  • Orchestrates multiple AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, gemini) per task; supports fine-tuning per customer and is developing on-premise deployment.
  • Exports edits to NLEs (resolve, via a separate resolve Cloud project so AI edits do not risk the main project); C2PA compliance planned; prompt conversations exportable for transparency.

Role in the proof-of-concept

  • Proposed for automated rough cuts (8 Jun); adopted for a head-to-head test: Eddie’s automatic edit compared against the manual edit by paola-sunna and roberto-iacoviello (3 Aug, 17 Aug).
  • Paola and Roberto send selected archive footage + script + notes via Google Drive to shamir for the test.
