HP

HP (Hewlett Packard) is a US technology company. With AMD it is listed as the FRAMES Participant “AMD/HP” supplying hardware for the frames proof-of-concept one-small-crawl, and HP is also an IBC2026 sponsor.

Role in FRAMES and One Small Crawl

  • Supplies the production workstations: HP Z-series machines were discussed from the 7 Apr call onward (Erik shared a NetBird + Create reference architecture for them).
  • Provides the HP Z2 mini workstation that powers hollm for the IBC Accelerator FRAMES demo (with the AMD Strix Halo processor, see amd).
  • Kit delivery is tracked with Rick (HP) - the notes transcribe his surname as “Holman” (13 Jul) and “Pullman” (22 Jun) - and the crew’s AMD/HP hardware order is coordinated by roberto-iacoviello (see meetings).
  • On 27 Jul HP had shipped the required laptop while the AMD machines were still pending.
  • IBC2026 marketing lists HP among the event sponsors (Google/HP/Shaw).
