HOLLM

HOLLM is the AI production assistant developed by holli for the mediadata project at insa. It manages the One Small Crawl Production Brain and connects it to the different tools on the production.

What it does

  • Production Brain - HOLLM manages the One Small Crawl Production Brain, the central knowledge/state store for the production. It is the articulation between an LLM and a semantic wiki based on MovieLabs OMC (omc-ontology) and industry good practices (ves-good-practices).
  • Tool orchestration - connects the Production Brain to the different tools on the production (kitsu, resolve, graphdb, and the agent pipeline), so the brain stays in sync with what the tools do.
  • Agentic assistant - as an AI production assistant, it drives the agent-orchestrated workflow of one-small-crawl (see ai-agent-pipeline).

Hardware and inference (IBC Accelerator FRAMES demo)

For the IBC Accelerator FRAMES demo, HOLLM is powered by an HP Z2 mini workstation provided by hp, using an AMD Strix Halo processor (amd), running the unsloth inference tool for the ornith, lfm and qwen models.

On One Small Crawl

  • HOLLM is the assistant layer that ties the Production Brain to the tool stack; it is the HOLLI-side counterpart to the agent-orchestrated pipeline described in the agent-production-bible.
  • It is developed under the mediadata project, a partnership between holli and insa for which cedric-lejeune is the tech manager (see cedric-lejeune).
  • The demo hardware (HP Z2 mini + AMD Strix Halo) is part of the AMD/HP kit supplied to the FRAMES proof-of-concept (see hp, amd).
